I have thought A LOT lately about the new year, knowing resolutions were right around the corner. Last year I had a pretty good one, which was starting over with Justin and an addition to the family and this year I would like to top that! (maybe not top but something good)....
I was talking to a good friend at dinner the other night and she asked me if I liked a certain person, my response was "yes, I love her, Love her, she's great" and SADLY she had to ask me if I were serious! "Ya I'm serious!" I said "oh, well I just don't hear you say that too often about someone!" she says!
{ that sucks }
I never really saw myself like that! I WANT to be the person who gives off the warm and inviting vibe. I do really like MOST people, I guess I'm just too vocal about my thoughts it may come across the wrong way!
I like to say it's because I am not easily impressed, I protect myself or it's hard to find people who are genuine! But regardless I am going to do my PERSONAL best to not take life (or others) so seriously. I appreciate the friends I do have & the friends I have made recently! I plan on being a little less cold and a little more tolerant. I have come to find out it's a little more fun making friends now than in high school {mountain view, enough said} ha I guess that would be the "too vocal" part! ; P
So here is to 2009 and the people I'll meet!
{and of course drop the baby weight}

i think we all have little things like we need to fix! but i've never noticed that with you..you've always been so nice to me! but i do wish you the best with your resolutions!

you are too cute! I happen to think your a very sweet person! I love your ending words "and of course drop the babay weight". I think you look great and you have a great start out here on that tread mill. You are better then me. That is a great new years resolution and is kinda of like one of mine. I hope to be a better friend that says something nice or nothing at all -cutting out the gossip-

how often can we really double love, love someone? i mean, if we just went around saying it about everybody it would lose its effect. i don't necessarily think that makes you the ice queen.
however, you do like keepin' it real. perhaps what this world needs is just a few more liars, er, glass half-full people. i think the trick is to truly feel that way about people and it will be reflected by the things you say.
