My brain on pregnancy!

So for a couple of days now I have been telling Paris that we would make home made cookies! considering I don't think her and I have made "home made" ones EVER! Sad I know, we went to the store last night to get all the stuff. This morning we got ALL the ingredients out and put it ALL out on the table because I knew I would not make it thru STANDING. (I wonder how much I am teaching Paris to do things the LAZY way?!)
We get to mixing and I didn't prepare ahead of time and let the butter sit out, and it calls for it to be softened! Well with out microwave I found this a little difficult! My BRILLIANT thought was to put it into the toaster oven, well that wasn't smart at all! It melted the outside and the middle was still hard! But we made do then added the sugars, went to beat it and the beaters DIED! Okay not the easiest thing trying to get half hard butter to mix in with the sugar! (frustrating to say the least) when it was finally mixed Paris wanted to taste it! I told her it wouldn't be great it's just the butter and sugar but she did anyway and her is was she thought about it!

I was determined to be PATIENT (not a strong point right now) and let Paris do as much as she was able to do. She did really well, but when it came to the eggs, I told her I would do it, but she insisted that she could and really wanted to, so what the heck, the one to get an eggshell in their cookie wins!? It was funny watching her fist the egg, hit the edge of the table, stick ALL of her fingers into the cracks and just CRUSH the egg and let it all drip thru her fingers into the bowl!!!
SURPRISINGLY NO EGG SHELLS! She did all 4 eggs without a single shell making it into the bowl. Time now to add the dry with the wet ingredients! With NO mixer, I am way too fatigued all the time anyway (i can't even hold my fork thru all of dinner I have to set it down, um is that normal?) there had to be an easier way...
We used our hands!
It took a little while to say the least! But WE DID we are done! Oh wait, I then realized, I FORGOT the most important part THE CHOCOLATE CHIPS!!!! Totally didn't even get them at the store, so these cookies are literally OATMEAL COOKIES! We only actually baked one batch so we didn't feel like total failures and froze the rest of the batter for when I do get chocolate chips! I still liked em! It didn't quite go over as great as it did in my head, but Paris and I did have fun just hanging out baking, something that NEVER happens!

VIP DIAMOND BACKS

There was a guy at work that teased Justin with a VIP SUITE ticket to the game. He told him in the morning he had an extra ticket for him, so J calls to see what I would say. Well I was bummed Fri. night and again nothing to do and will be kicken it with Paris once again. But he does LOVE his sports so I said I didn't mind, tickets like these don't come along everyday for us, I mean HIM! Then about an hour or so later he txts saying the tickets were given to some one else. I sincerely tell him sorry, and move on. An hour later he calls me and asks if I want to go to the game! Supposedly Tim (the man w the tickets) now has two tickets and was re offering to Justin and told him to take me along. I hesitated cause really I don't know Tim, I don't LOVE baseball, 9 INNINGS and I'm 8 months way to uncomfortable pregnant! But heck how bad can a suite be!
This is the suite shot behind us, doesn't do it justice! It was free good food, all you can eat, and a dessert cart, I had the BEST CARAMEL APPLE! J ate himself silly I think, there was just too much to let it go to waste!
Tim and his wife are great people, Tim is so funny, he kept telling me how hilarious he thinks Justin is, and asking if I get this kind of "entertainment" all the time at home! um....NO not really! They had a good time! The game was a good one, and it was an awesome view I even watched!

It was nice to have a night out and meet new people! Funny, people treated me like they've never seen a pregnant women before! Every D Back employee commented one way or another, I even was offered my own private bathroom! A girl can get use to this!

UFC FANS!

OK SO IF YOU MISSED THE UFC FIGHT LAST SATURDAY...YOU MISSED ONE HECK OF A FIGHT! So I admit I like the UFC fights mostly just for the get togethers, the fights are a little cruel for me, I think I flinch every time someone gets hit and gag every time I see a good flesh wound! But I have to say that I am a LIDDELL fan and his opponent was/IS such an idiot (his self given nickname is SUGAR!) I was looking forward to Liddell laying him out....
Well that is Liddell laid out on the floor! "Sugar" got lucky and got a great hit that just took Liddell out! EVERYONE in the room gasped or screamed! It was sad and quite the SHOCK! POOR LIDDELL! I STILL LOVE YA!

have you seen enough first day of school blogs yet!

Paris had her first day of school start yesterday! So being the fun (maybe a lil obnoxious) mom that I am I woke up Paris by jumping and singing "rise and shine, it's your first day of school" all of course while holding the camerae. As she pulled the covers over her head and tells me, "no pictures in the morning mom!" So once I got the covers off her she couldn't stop smiling about it being the first day of school.

She was so stoked and couldn't hardly wait for the clock to say 1 1 3 0! In the middle of lunch she noticed the clock said 1 1 3 5 and jumped up, got her shoes on and said "let's go we're late" She barely would stop and give me a smile before we got out the door!
(yeah that's peanut butter on her face she was in a hurry!) So we are off and on our way she kept talking about her friend Zachery that is going to be in her class and that she can't wait to see her teacher Ms. Amy!

We got to the house a little early so here is Paris waiting oh so patiently for the teacher to come out and get her.

She really wanted to go stand by the front door but that just wasn't going to happen, for one it is way too hot and I just don't want to be that "girl" that is annoying first day of school! FINALLY, MS. AMY CAME OUT AND GOT HER! Not a second thought, a kiss goodbye and she never looked back!
