My Little Country Dancers

Well I am finally posting about our St. Johns 24th of July trip/family reunion! I really didn't take much pictures but it actually was a really nice time! Thanks Brandy for letting us stay with ya, seriously doesn't take long to feel at home there! We were only there for 3 days but it was perfect weather and lots of family! We got there just in time for the camp a rama, everyone in town parks their cars in a circle and we eat. My family makes Indian fried bread that is the BEST! (that's really what we come back for) The kids see how dirty they can get running around in the dirt, then we go home and get ready for the dance! OH the DANCE, that used to be a count down for me (like christmas or something) So much fun. But we realized once your older it just isn't the same! So all there is to do now is to pass it on to our kids and hope they have just as much fun! Well my girl soo loved it....

Well when Paris had no one to dance with she got out there and danced by herself but daddy (yep I'm calling you out) was too worried of looking silly so he didn't dance with ME or his beautiful girl, this is all we got out of him... Side lines holding kids who's parents would dance!

Taylor on the other hand complained all the way there, crying about his tummy hurting and NOT wanting to go to the dance! which he was ignored and knew it was getting him no where. So when we got there and were walking to the door he stops and pukes! GENIUS (thought Justin, why didn't I think of that!) he got to play games in the car!
Then the next morning we were up bright and early 7 am for our pancake breakfast and to get ready for the parade! Yep a parade and we were IN IT! (J was oh so excited about that one) showing off how many there really are in my family!
172 DESCENDANTS that's a whole lotta family!
and the WOMEN WE OWE IT ALL TOO! Grandma and Grandpa (of course) and this is only one side of the trailer!

The ENTIRE rest of the day was spent OUTSIDE at this ramada and park. The adults played cards, volley ball and took naps in the grass.
Justin had no problem
joining in the card games!

the kids had lots of games and cousins to play with...

And good ole Elliot roping the kids... that's how they do it in the country!
To wrap up the reunion and the day we all gathered around to hear the kids of grandma (my aunts and uncles) talk about their cherished memories of their parents! Tears and laughter it couldn't of ended any better!

Those pics are great - it looks like so much fun! Paris looks so cute in her little, pink cowgirl boots. And Justin: don't miss the chance to dance with your beautiful girls! :)
