I LOVE MY NEPHEWS

So since i haven't been working i have been able to watch my sisters kids sometimes. I had jonah and ikey come play with paris for a lil while, then a few days later i got to have Ethan. Of course Jonah and Paris just play (& sometimes fight) they can't have enough play time. and Ikers is entertained following them around. he thinks he is just as big! Great boys so fun to have em around.

when i had ethan the whole time he didn't make a sound, i felt like i was neglecting him cause he like didn't whine or cry or want anything he just went about his way playing with toys and following paris around. finally i sat him on my lap and made him talk to me (or made him listen to me talk) so i felt like i gave him some kind of attention. he looked tired so i thought i will go lay him down in paris's room give him his horse he has to have and snuggle him up and see what happens. im used to paris that would laugh at me and just get up and walk out and have to be by me, but not ethan he laid down, paris tried to lay by him tell him "its ok im here with you" but he really didn't want her to be near him. so paris got up and like 5 min later the sweet baby was in slumber land! man so awesome. i text mara i was shocked how EASY he is ALWAYS! love to luv the boys!

SERIOUSLY?!?!

So for any of you that thought you might of had a rough day, let me try and make you feel a little better!
Im cruising along chatting on the phone to justin, going down ironwood, making my treck back from my sisters house. When my car starts to sputter and im on this road that is two lanes going one way and a dirt patch to seperate the other two lanes going the other way. So I have to pull of into the dirt divider because the other side was a pretty steap drop. Which mind you, I just went to driving school and was told this spot that i am in right now, is oneof the top 5 most dangerous spots to be!!!! And right when i pull off, put my hazards on, tell justin im gonna call faith since he was no where close, paris tells me she has to go potty! SERIOUSLY!!! So i call faith and tell her and she starts LAUGHING! Well good thing you think its funny your the one coming out to get me! ; ) So faith gets there and pulls infront of me and its all muddy, I jump out, scared paris and i were gonna get nailed by passing traffic, jump in the car as faith tries to pull out almost getting stuck in the mud! WOW DRAMATIC RIGHT!? And after all that Faith forgot the gas container..LOL! So justin came and met us at the gas station then him and i drove out back to my car.

P.S. in my defense my stupid gas gauge doesn't work so i have to track it thru my mileage, and the last time gas was put in the car it wasn't filled up but i was still trying to go to the full mileage!

4 GOING ON 14 FOR REAL!!!

(ok my week was so super busy and i have lots to tell but that will have to be a whole nother night cause tonight i am way to exhausted!) BUT THIS STORY IS KINDA FUNNY!

So I came home after working an 11 hour day, its going on the 5th day of pulling 11hrs everyday, Im wiped out and totally useless! So Justin has been so great this week helping with paris! Tonight he put her in the bath and left to go pick up food and while he was gone i was supposed to get her out. So I went into the bathroom to wash her hair and get her out and i walked in on her SHAVING HER LEGS!!!





SHE I SO 4 GOING ON 14.





She didn't even act like she got caught, it was like it was a nightly thing for her to shave! So instead of yelling at her to put down the razor (it is one that has the safe bars across the blades so you don't cut yourself) I ran to get the camera (just like every other blogger in america!) i got the first one with out her noticing and the following 2 she re inacted for me! It just seemed so typical for Paris to pull something like this!

Whats Peter Piper with out A BEST BUDDY?!?!

So Paris has been such a good girl sleeping in her room like a big girl I told her she could go to Peter Piper and take a buddy. Well she wanted Jalyn to go! So we went and picked her up for lunch and the two of them had a blast!

UM HOW EXCITED IS SHE?!?!

They play so well together, its adorable! Paris is now bossy and Jalyn lets her (we found out we have the bossy kid), that must be how they play so well together! We fed em some pizza, played lots of games,

got lots of tokens, Justin hit the jack pot on wheel of fortune got us lots of tickets! We went to "cash" in and get some prizes but they were lame and had nothing! So we left...

the girls were looking forward to the prizes so we took them to the dollar store to pick some thing out and went back to my house. They played for another 5 and a half hours! And when it came time to take Jalyn home, I put her jacket on buttoned it up, put her shoes on and then went to get Paris and when I came back into the room like 2 seconds later she had taken em all off and told me she wasn't leaving! Aw now thats showin the love! Thanks for playing Jalyn...

our baby is no longer a baby!!!!

Alas Paris turned four! I told her the night before on her birthday whatever she wants goes! She remembered that alright, she woke up and found me in the kitchen and told me she wanted her daddy up so she was going to go wake him....

Gosh he didn't like that too much he threw her off the first attempt but she continued till he had no choice but to get up! So as all of us are now walking into the kitchen i asked her what she wanted for breakfast, "anything you want you get!" well anyone who knows Paris well enough knows she said chocolate of some sort...well i was making her birthday cake and for breakfast she wanted to lick the bowl!
BREAKFAST OF CHAMPIONS! K breakfast of birthdays! mmmm good!!!! After breakfast we made our way to rachels to color my moms hair and witness the 2nd failed attempt to rachels breadmakin! haha

Paris played with Gabriel in the back and with Taylor on the video games! So super cute, think she needs a sibling?...

So here is the fun crazy part of our day...we head back to get the PARTY STARTED! It was a dance party, we had dance dance revolution out, balloons and what felt like a hundred kids. Plenty of food and a cake i made, it might of been one of the saddest cakes actually used at a bday party!

Paris knew how to work poor little Ikey, she sat in the stroller having him chauffeur her around, he pushed her all over the house!

MY BEAUTIFUL 4 YEAR OLD!

ALRIGHT PARTY OVER! NOW THIS ONE THIS ONE IS FOR ANNIE....So you can stop threatening paris that your gonna put diapers back on her! FYI she is terrified every time she sees one now! lol

Yes Paris has been sleeping with her parents for quite some time now. Life had been way too crazy for us and quite frankly i enjoyed Paris sleeping with me. But now, now its time for her to be on her own! For the past month we have been telling paris when she turns four, after her bday party she gets to sleep in her room in her own bed all by herself! She has been agreeing to do so and seemed almost excited to. Well time of truth...we laid her down, read a book, turned on some music, talked about her exciting day and she was off to slumber land! Yeah she was a little upset she fell asleep with a sad look on her face. The trick for us, we put her to bed a little late, made sure she was good and tired so she would want to fall asleep! and yes it was the first night so i laid with her for a little while, and I cried thinking of leaving her in her room. i had a moment when i thought of all the bad things that could happen but are really really unlikely to. I tried making an excuse to justin of why maybe not tonight and try another night, but that thought wasn't even said out loud till he X'd that one! So it was done, and she was pretty good about it!

if it looks like its bright as day its because it practically was...she said she was afraid of the dark so we gave her a nite light it was brighter than her lamp! YIPPEE FOR PARIS WHAT A BIG 4 YR OLD! HAPPY BDAY PARIS!

GUITAR HERO PARTY

So it ended up being a family party... we had music, food screaming kids and oh boy did we have entertainment! And if your thinking that it was solely the guitar hero than you haven't met justin and his brother brad! I don't think brad (being it was his first time playing) ever hit a note but he rocked out like he was pro! ( sorry i didn't get proof of that) and J well he didn't need a guitar in his hands to party, he was a dancin fool! pulling out the carlton from fresh prince! but towards the end they ended up really trying to hit some of the notes!

I totally thought I am all paparazzi but I blew it at this party! i didn't get a whole lot of pics because i was hosting and trying to manage the party, sad cause my brother in law (todd) dressed up like a rocker from the 90's and was HOT and my sister and her hubby (faith and joe) dressed up like a rocker and a groupie straight out of the 80's! Napoleon Dynamite Style!!! So Hot! this pic doesn't do faith justice (she just looks 12 rockin the side pony) but its all i got out of the napoleon couple! We had 18 adults and 6 kids...and i got pictures of like 3 people! Well it turned out to be a pretty good night!

So, long after all who had kids went home, to be good, responsible parents and put their little ones to bed, you know Paris was still up and rocking with a fury with the rest of us!

I do have to say that this little guitar hero has Justin learning a little bit of patience with Paris. He sat down and went through, on the slowest of slows an entire song telling paris when to strum while he pushed the colors! AN ENTIRE SONG on SLOWEST takes forever and is so not fun for those who can play. So I'm giving props to J! Paris will take any play time she can get with her daddy and her daddy will take any play time he can get on guitar hero! ; )

The Tradition continues!!!!

SUPER CROSS 2008!!!

So last year Amy and I started the tradition, this year the group has grown...actually its an entirely different group, but might of been the funnest thing I've done in Mesa ALL year! (So I don't get out much!) I even got my sister Mara to go out with me, who would of thunk she would want to do what I do!

So a quick re cap... Justin was oh so glad Mark came along they chatted and actually talked about the race... Amy and Cynthia enjoyed themselves true super cross style they were off checking out boys and getting their drink on....

I sat by Mara, I think I spent most of the time explaining my world to her like what is Fox, Nixon and well the lingo...TRUE DAT! LOL thats a lil of an inside joke! (sorry) It was a good time having her there!

Justin was on the other side of me, he was really starting to get into the whole thing! Which is good since this is gonna be a yearly thing! He was getting so mad at me being paparazzi! I asked on the final race if he would turn and get a picture with me and that didn't go down very well! but don't you worry when the race was over he posed with me!

Well because the boys had to sit by each other Annie and I got split up! So every once in awhile we would lean back ask how the other was doing! but we got our catch up time on the drive back home, LOVE IT, we go way back!
