Christmas eve...

MAN I LOVE MY DEWITT FAMILY!!!!

Corrine and Fred are always so generous, doing things for others, watching kids, church work, grand kid slumber parties for days, crafts, reading to them...and the list goes on and on! Last year for Christmas we ended up getting Fred a TON of crossword puzzles, more than he can ever do. Corrine got lots of earrings...So this year the entire family of 8 (plus spouses) decided we were going to go in on something worth while this year....So we all put in enough money to carpet their entire house!

Well the reaction from Corrine was just what I was hoping for! Fred even teared up which in return I think rest of us might have just a little! It was PERFECT, we even had Tim in the back ground playing the blues on the harmonica! *CLASSIC

*A HUMONGOUS THANK YOU TO TK STRATTON at Stratton Superior Builders and GARY at Flooring America for making it possible for us to do this! Truly we couldn't have pulled it off with out their help! So Thank you!!!!*GOOD NIGHT!

OH CHRISTMAS TREE

Lets back track just a month, Christmas is a good one to start on....

We got ourselves a real tree just like every other year but this year we got it from costco. Best thing we ever did! It was the cheapest tree and the PRETTIEST tree we have ever had!
I love having a helpful husband and watch my son want to help out think he is so big!

Tustin was daddies lil helper!
The tree was a bit bigger then we anticipated but it was so pretty and so fresh
in fact it was so fresh we had friends coming out of it....

MY FAVORITE CHRISTMAS TREE
a great way to start the holidays
Smells like Christmas
I am a lucky and fortunate girl to have a home and family to share the holidays with

*Paris was all excited to get a tree and hang the ornaments but as you can tell by there being no pictures of her she was MIA for most of it, playing with her friends!

*real mistletoe to boot! thanks Rochelle

I JUST WANNA DANCE!

Aw the 24th of July in St. Johns! A tradition I have been doing since I can remember! One I have always looked forward to and enjoyed (mostly in my growing up years the hubby now doesn't dance so much...This year we went because it is time for my daughter to start making some of her OWN memories here! And this year I think was the first out of 8 years the hubby and I did NOT fight! I have another boy now that will dance with me, Tustin! ;)

Paris made sure no one was left out!
This man may not dance with me (yet) but he sure does look hot on the side lines!
One of my besties and her family joined us this year!
we had a great time with them
and glad they came!
Paris wanted to DANCE it is what we came for right with anyone
who would! She loved dancing with
GRANDPA!

But she was OVER THE MOON when she found her 2nd cousin
CARSON
who would not only dance with her but would teach her how
He was the STUD of the dance!
showing all the lil girls the moves
This boy will break some hearts...
starting with Paris...
she found out he was a cousin and couldn't crush on him

I do have to just say after she started dancing with him and I had to run back to get the camera cause I apparently am so that mom, my heart was full! She was having her first real experience at the dances in SJ! This was it, this was the moment, the reason we came! All too many emotions came over ME for a moment...This is MY DAUGHTER! It seems like it wasn't that long ago it was ME on the elementary school basketball court outside dancing! I fear this is the beginning of broken hearts and fond memory making!
A week later she is already asking when we are going back! oh boy!
SHE MAKES ME HAPPY TO THE FULLEST!
