HUGE THANKS!

I ENJOYED AND APPRECIATE EVERYONE WHO CAME BY TO VISIT! BEING IN THERE FOR 5 DAYS GOT REALLY BORING AND IT WAS NICE TO SEE DIFFERENT FACES!

(only those who held baby Tustin got photographed!...sorry Brad, Rex and Mark but thx for coming)
SORRY TO THOSE WHO CAME ON THE VERY 1ST DAY, I WAS COMPLETELY OUT OF IT AND NOT ON MY "A" GAME SO PICTURES WERE MINIMAL... But a HUGE THANKS to MELISSA, MOM & DAD DEWITT AND JESSE!
DAD THANK YOU FOR COMING EVERY DAY!!!! WE LOVE YOU!

The DESPERATE and HUMILIATING things women have to go through post pregnancy! Not only do we have to deal with being FAT still, being SORE all over, feeling incapable at the most crucial times (example: not being able to get baby out of cradle, not getting out of bed on my own do to major surgery) But having to resort to this....

I thought myself very LUCKY that my perfect baby was able to breast feed with no problem! But than found out (the hard way) that breast feeding was sending me into these aweful fevers (long story) and I ended up having to stop breastfeeding! Very disappointing but HE got a good week in of the good stuff! But now I'm left with a very SORE chest! A nurse had mentioned to me to cut up chilled cabbage and stick it in my bra and that would SOOTHE my pain. Honestly this is a nurse I REALLY didn't like and I was sure she had heard me mention that to anyone who would listen and this was her way of getting me back! Then I was talking to my sister Mara who said she had done it and it WORKED! So there it is, a women at her breaking point will do ANYTHING! (almost anything)
BTW IT IS NOT A PRETTY SMELL, PARIS GAVE ME A HUG AND SHE LOOKED AT ME AND SAID "I THINK TUSTIN POOPED" (tustin was laying next to me)

and baby makes four

(This blog is being hijacked by Sara's sister)

AT LAST!!
Meet Tustin Ryder DeWitt. Born October 20. 8 lbs. 3 oz., 20 1/2 inches long.
GORGEOUS. I wanna eat him up, he's so delicious.

However, he has a very protective big sister looking out for him, and whenever I mention nibbling, she adamantly refuses to let me.

Mommy is doing well and looking forward to post-recovery. Daddy is doing what Daddy's do in the hospital. :)

{Congratulations DeWitt family - we love you}

ANNIE I BLAME YOU!

I went over to my good friends Annie's house the other day and she had made cookies. Now usually I'm not much of a cookie freak, I can totally just eat one. But I don't know if it was the mixture of not eating lunch, being preggers, excusing myself to be fat while being pregnant and them being like the BEST cookies ever but I think I probably ate like a dozen myself that day! (Sorry Annie good thing you made a HUGE batch!)

Today I kept telling Justin I NEED those cookies but kept putting it off thinking I could will myself to NOT make 4 dozens cookies the night before I have this baby, since I will have to SLOW way down since I will just be FAT after tomorrow.
Well after dinner I couldn't resist and sent J to the store and made the cookies at 8 at night! I figure I can't eat after midnight tonight because of the surgery I should savor the moment NOW!

NOTHING LIKE A 9:30 PM SNACK THAT HIT THE SPOT! I AM NOW COMPLETE AND READY FOR TOMORROW!

MMM GOOD!

BABY SHOWER

I realized that my "swimming baby" (on my side bar) says I have 8 days left to go! Well I would LOVE to just say that it REALLY is only TWO more days, Monday morning bright and early doctors will be bringing this BABY BOY into the world! LET THE FUN BEGIN!

I had a fabulous baby shower last night, THANKS to all my SISTERS (yes that includes you Amber) and Karen for preparing all the super yummy food! Faith (and Joe) the house looked amazing and it was fun to have a "Halloween" themed baby shower! You don't get to do that everyday! And being it was at night made it feel like a party, which was lots of fun! THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO CAME I KNOW WE LIVE IN THE BOONDOCKS! I unfortunately didn't even think of my camera until the very end, so thanks to Lindsay and Tanya for posing for the only picture that I took that night!

Like Mother Like Daughter...

Our niece got baptized last night, so we went over to the occasion at the church. I have no church clothes that fit over this enormous hump I call a belly! But I did find a maternity dress Mara handed down to me that I have forgotten about and since I was out of time I didn't even want to look in the mirror in case it looked that bad, and I KNEW to be embarrassed, this way I can pretend I look alright. Funny enough Paris has a dress very much like it! We were TWINNERS! It was funny cause I would prob mock a mother/daughter dress alike (sorry it's just not me) But it was fun for the night! I love this girl she was so proud everyone kept telling her "you and your mommy are twins!"

BTW I think I now defiantly have rights to say how HUGE I REALLY am!(i have said it once before, not really knowing how much WORSE it was going to get) Especially when I have strangers and family alike that can't stop commenting how BIG I am and those who don't know me asking if I'm have TWINS!

AHHH! MEAN!!!!!!

About 9 this morning I call my sister Rachel and tell her "IT'S SHOW TIME" I am going into the hospital and HAVING THIS BABY!!!! And I will be dropping off little miss Paris?! So the next thing is to call Faith and let her in on the plans being she will share Paris duty...Then Paris wakes up I tell her "TODAY IS THE DAY LITTLE BROTHER IS COMING!" We take our last pictures kissing the baby IN belly before he is OUT & we are off to the hospital, meanwhile calling my family and J's mom on the way!

SO WHY IN THE WORLD DID I DO THIS YOU ASK!?!?!?!?! My C Section isn't until the 20th! Well because for 7 hours plus I was having pretty hard contractions, consistently 5 min apart. I thought for sure I was being blessed and was going to be able to have this kiddo a bit early. I DID call my doc and she said go right into the hospital because if they get a whole lot stronger or closer I guess it's a bit harder to do the C Section. So I AM STOKED, GIDDY! The baby is HERE! WHOO HOO! GET ER DONE (can you tell I am so ready to be done)
NO SUCH LUCK!!!! After 4 hours they decide my cervix isn't budging and to go ahead and let me go HOME!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT!?!?! ARE YOU KIDDING!?!?! HELLO NEWS FLASH DOC THE BABY DOESN'T NEED TO FIT THRU THE CERVIX ON A C SECTION! IT WAS ALL I COULD DO TO NOT LOSE IT & GRAB THE DOCTORS LEG AND BEG HIM TO LET ME STAY AND TAKE THIS BABY OUT! I am only 3 days from 38 weeks, if I were 38 weeks they would of done it no questions asked! I got mentally prepared he was coming today! And not only did it wreck my whole day for nothing, I have to now face Paris and tell her ever so excited self she isn't getting HER baby brother TODAY, Nor can she stay the NIGHT and aunt Rachel's! I don't know who wanted to cry harder, ME or HER!

NOW I REALLY JUST WANT TO LAY IN BED FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE 2 WEEKS, TODAY WAS REALLY JUST A CRUEL JOKE!
