I AM SO PROUD OF MY MAN! We have always talked about how we would like to be productive and remodel a ran down house, well we got the oppertunity sooner than we thought! Because we have never attempted such a chore we were a bit reluctnant to take on the challenge not sure we could do it! And as it certainly hasn't been easy it has really done us BOTH good to do the labor work! AND A HUGE THANK YOU MY DAD, KAREN AND DAMON (& Justin really did get a lot of volunteers to help us out) TO BRAD & EMMY, JESSE, JOSH, REX & LU (and girls) JOE, TYLER, RYAN, todd!Mara & faith for babysitting! I MUST SAY THOUGH THE" MVB" (most valuable brother) GOES TO BRAD (& Emmy) they were the first ones there and the last to leave, I think the first weekend we worked on the house they spent probably 30 HOURS in 3 days! And just about the same on the 2nd weekend ALL THE WHILE NEVER COMPLAINING & A SMILE ON THEIR FACE! "that's what family is for" as Brad would say while sincerely meaning it! WOW our THANKS just isn't enough!
FLOORING- 15OO dollars
PAINT FOR AN ENTIRE HOUSE- 1000 dollars
FAMILY THAT IS THERE TO HELP - *PRICELESS*
OH and Justin has found out just how to turn me on! Nothing is better than watching Justin sweat and not by playing sports! ; )

A GREAT TIME IN SHOW LOW
What a great weekend we had at the DeWitt's! Not my DeWitt's but DeWy and Tawni! What great hosts! There is A LOT to blog about and I will get to that later (maybe) but while I was thinking about it I wanted to just share a little of the conversation we had in the car on the way up. We had Todd (my bro in law) go up with us and he was sitting in back entertaining Paris, when Paris says...
Paris- Mommy why does Daddy ALWAYS drive?
Todd- 'Cause Daddy is a prince and that's what you do for mommies!
Paris- So Mommy is a princess? (giggles)
Todd- YEP.
Paris- DANG!!
So with that in mind, Paris enjoyed the weekend being constantly reminded every time I asked her to do something that she had to because Mommy is a PRINCESS!

THANKS EVERYONE!
So I thought I could make a quick post saying THANKS to ALL that left a comment on my birthday blog! It was a great day that started with a very yummy french toast breakfast! MY FAVE, and it's not "Aw good job justin, what a great hubby" (although you still are, i understand you had to work) It was a great breakfast made by my sister Faith. the perk I suppose for letting me stay at her house while I couldn't find our bed back at our house! And now I have to say that I did not give myself a shout out on my OWN birthday! That too was owed to Faith! I went out of town the day after and came back and JUSTIN told me how many comments I had (yeah he was surprised) and I was like whatever I didn't even do a birthday blog! oh how wrong I was! ANYHOW THANKS FAITH, AND ALL WHO WISHED HAPPY WISHES ON MY BDAY!

Satan's Creation
I. hate. cats.
Is "hate" a strong word?
Yes? Good.
I HATE them.
So, my Dad recently had an opening (renter evicted) for his rental house in Queen Creek. Justin and I have been looking for a place to call home, so we thought this was a great opportunity.
WARNING: IF YOU HAVE A LESS THAN AN IRONCLAD STOMACH, DO NOT CONTINUE READING.
The Walk Through:
The place was de.stroyed.
Is destroyed a strong enough word?
Cat feces everywhere.
Toilets full of (yes, you guessed it).
Rotten food in the fridge.
Mold ALL over the kitchen.
Cigarette butts, beer cans...need I say more?
I don't think I really needed to say more than CAT FECES. The odor alone did me in. I couldn't even walk through the house without Justin having to take his shirt off so I could put it over my face to breathe. And do you know the problems cat feces cause for pregnant women? If not, please find out.
Before no one ever decides to visit me at my new home, let me tell you the amount of blood, sweat and tears that have now gone into this. First, my dad and 4 other people went in on the front lines to begin the demolition work. Let's just say this, my dad, armed with a face mask and gloves, had to take a shovel to the toilets and even (vomited) inside his mask. Twice! Then they ripped up all the flooring so Justin and I could come in and prime the entire house with Kilz. All the walls and the bare floors had to be primed with this paint that seals out stains and odors. And since Friday, Justin and a whole slew of volunteers have been installing the flooring while I primed and painted every inch of that house. The boys are still installing the flooring as we speak with no end in sight, but has to be finished by...yesterday.
And initially my dad thought all we were going to have to do was shampoo the carpets.
Chyah, right.
